Thank-you to the Pembina Hills Art Gallery staff and amazing volunteers! And most importantly to my African friends, this is truly for you!
All proceeds from the exhibit will go to HOPEthiopia. This is an organization all about giving hope and restoration to the orphaned children of Ethiopia.
Heather Braun-Dahl of Dahlhaus has such a gift for creating beautiful ceramic pieces. I am excited to soon have a piece of her work in my home! Her paintings and vases are now up on the Anthropologie website. So happy Heather that more of the world can see your amazing work!
Early on this summer, I photographed the Maple Grove Tea Room in the historic Kennedy House. I love the winding drive along the river and feeling the quaintness of St. Andrews, MB. Images are on there way to be viewed at the Maple Grove Tea Room website.
I was also invited back to have several of my art pieces for sale. As the season closes there, I want to thank Val for her friendship & invitation to me to do something I love!
New art pieces are up at the Maple Grove Tea Room!

As I shipped off another print, (this time to a women in Washington who has it framed & hanging in her boys room) I thought it was timely to tell a little bit of the story behind this summer photo taken in BC last summer during our family reunion. I think a big part of what I love about this image is knowing who found this green creature and who’s hands are holding him!
Meet my niece Julia, an extremely smart, beautiful and creative young women. She has a wealth of knowledge about nature and loves to explore it! Alongside her family’s amazing farm runs a small creek. I was lucky enough to be around when she came and showed me one of her MANY finds of the summer.
Love you Julia.
