I imagine many of us have images & words that come to us when we think of the heart of Gerald. A man of patience & of quiet wisdom. A man that deeply loved his family. A man in the big Ford truck that not only used it for the purpose of farming, but to carry goalie equipment back & forth with his three boys in tow….not only because he had a passion for hockey but because he had a passion for his boys & the things they loved to do.
His golden fields. Somehow the glitter & whisper of heaven seemed to be present. As I witnessed the immense beauty in his amazing boys & his beautiful wife amongst his wheat fields that summer evening, I knew once again that they were his true gold.
love to you kim, griffin, kyle & reid.
thankful to be able to meet little people like this that have that gift of scattering joy wherever they go!
